Submissions
We expect the following types of submissions:
- Problem statements describing open issues of theoretical or practical nature. The problems should be illustrated by real examples.
- Experience reports. Positive experiences should present techniques that work and the situations in which they work. Negative experiences should be used to highlight new research challenges.
- Surveys and comparative studies that investigate pros, cons and complementarities of existing variability modelling approaches.
- Research in progress, including research results at a premature stage.
- Vision papers stating where the research in the field should be heading towards.
- Tool demonstrations describing the variability-related features of CASE tools.
Format
The length of the submitted papers should be between 3 and 10 pages in IEEE CS proceedings 8.5" x 11", two-column format. Templates and instructions can be found at the IEEE CS web site.
Publication
The proceedings of the workshop will be published as an ICB
Research Report. The ICB is the Institute for Computer
Science and Business
Information Systems of the University of
Duisburg-Essen.
High quality papers will be considered for journal publication.
